A youth was killed and three others were injured in an accident in Demra area of Dhaka early Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Sohel (30).

Rasel Ahmed, a friend of the deceased, said the two motorcycles carrying the victims lost control over the vehicles after reaching Konapara area while they were returning home after attending the wedding of Sohel’s younger brother at 12:30am.

The injured were rushed to DMCH where doctors declared Sohel dead, said Md Bachchu Mia, inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police Outpost.

The body was kept in DMCH morgue for autopsy, he said.
